This is really a good idea! But before I start to propose this, other already try to think of who should pay for the maintenance! sob….
I feel inspired by this brilliant idea personally!
If I’m the boss of the bus company, I will do it without any hesitation! 🙂

I am glad you like it, love it myself as well. Not knowing all the realities in Singapore, I believe that maintenance should not be that complicated, when you think creative and practical combined. If you are really interested in seeing how and which way this could be implemented on top of your busses, I will be more than happy to explore this together with you and, if workable, implement it together with you.
With Planting Happiness, we have launched this past week a special urban rooftop gardening project downtown Montreal and I am looking into exploring the same bus rooftop scenario as well as other ‘out-of-the-box’ urban garden locations worldwide. Just let me know what your thoughts are and if you like to discuss it further, drop me a line by email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
I look forward hearing from you soon. 🙂

If you interesting to spread your idea to Singapore, you can Facebook Nparks- http://www.facebook.com/nparksbuzz?ref=ts&fref=ts
They are the Authority having control the most trees and plantations in Singapore.
And try LTA –
They are the one control the transportation in Singapore.
Feel free to be friend with them, they are always welcome all creative and innovation ideas!
I personally love the idea very much as I’m a green and ECO fan, I can’t wait to see this happen in Singapore!
I wish you luck! 🙂

Thank you Sydney! I really appreciate your help and the links you provided me with! I am definitely going to be friend with them and see how we can explore new ways of urban gardening together. I am green-eco-minded as well, that’s why I started with Planting Happiness. I will keep you posted on this one! Hug, Gera 🙂
